Our Mission
The International Basketball Officials Academy (IBOA) Inc. is a Philadelphia-based nonprofit organization dedicated to basketball officials education and development, youth development, mentorship, and community engagement.
Founded in 2022, IBOA provides education and development opportunities for basketball officials while using the game to create meaningful opportunities for young people. Through IBOA Officials, we focus on referee education, training, mentorship, and practical development. Through IBOA 3×3, we introduce youth and communities to official FIBA 3×3 basketball through instruction, organized competition, and development-focused programming.
Our work is built around a simple commitment:
Learn • Lead • Elevate.
